Matt became a Christian at 23.  His family goes to church regularly and he serves on a ministry team.  But as he faces challenges at work, home, and church, Matt feels like he’s getting behind.  He’s not growing spiritually at the same pace of his challenges.  He’s experiencing spiritual slippage.  Can you relate to that?

Here’s my prescription: Get involved in a small group of 8-10 people who study the Bible.  Discuss God’s truth and its implications on your everyday life.  The Bible is both simple and profound.  Spend a lifetime learning with others and you’ll never run out of new biblical insights.  As someone once said, “Don’t go through life, grow though life.”  Don’t let your challenges outpace your faith.  Be part of a growth group!

“Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us.  The Scriptures give us patience and encouragement so that we can have hope.”  Romans 15:4 (NCV)
