Are you scared?

Marcy was asked to serve in a ministry to reach children in the community.  She was honored to be chosen, excited about the possibilities—and scared to death.  Ever find yourself petrified by the awesome opportunity of serving the Almighty God?

Here’s my prescription: Cut yourself a little slack.  And give God a little credit.  First of all, you don’t change other people’s lives.  God does.  He honors you by calling you an ambassador for Jesus Christ.  The Apostle Paul said, “It is not me but Christ in me.”  God will work through you as you serve.  Your job is to listen to His direction, follow His lead, and get out of His way!  He’ll do the rest!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”   Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
